The history of the Shire of Glenn Linn began back in the late 1980's and with luck and determination should continue far into the future. Over all these years the membership of the shire has contracted, expanded and turned over on more then one occasion, with each and every individual who has called Glenn Linn home contributing to the collection of memories and anecdotes that comprise our history.

Below you will find links to our History, Scrap Book, Domesday Book and Time Line. The history was compiled over several years by consulting every available source, both written and electronic and through direct interviews with former members dating back to the founding of the Shire. The Scrap book has News Paper clippings about the Shire and its activities going back to the early 1990s. The Domesday Book lists every individual that has ever been a member of the Shire of Glenn Linn as well as the years they were active and the Time Line shows the various milestones that have occurred during the Shire's History.
